South of Daethia, Etrya is a land of rolling hills, thick forest and deep, rich black soil. Etrya is known as the ‘Emerald of the Empire’ as the main source of the empires food production, renowned for its harvest of grain, alongside its farming of various vegetables and livestock.

It’s ancient, thick forests are home to ferocious beasts, forgotten druid conclaves and apathetic or malevolent nature spirits that are worshipped in the local villages for protection or appeasement.

Even now a hundred years after its conquest, the day to day is run by various noble houses. Each with complex history and traditions. Before the empire these houses operated in a confederacy, each house taking lordship over small parts of the land and owning their own militias and armies. History teaches that when the war broke out with the Empire, their invasion was hard fought.

These days the lives of the small folk are ruled by the never ending consumption of their labour. Quotas and delivery rules dominate the politics and many find themselves living simple lives in serfdom.
