Veshal is the Empire’s northernmost possession, a harsh territory defined by rugged hills, endless pine forests, and mineral-rich rock. Veshal is the most sparsely populated province of the Empire, its landscape spotted with small mining towns, but its people are hardy and resilient. These mining operations produce high-quality iron to feed the Empires war machine.
Historically these people lived side by side with nomadic tribes who worshipped the great tree of stars. These barbarians where quickly recruited into the Deathian military after Veshal’s defeat, and they have since faded into history.
Veshal is also known for The great mage college the house of Graedonia, a remote place of ancient study and wizard training. Home to many members of the Empire’s mage cadre.
