When travelling from place to place you will be presented with a map with a hexagon grid, and a combined ‘party’ token that acts as a token for the whole group.

Each hex on the map represents a 3 mile area. As a party, you then decide which direction to head and move one hex at a time.

Each hex has a chance to contain something, this can range from simple narration or some terrain features to RP encounters, monsters, challenges, puzzles and even entire dungeons.

you can travel a maximum of 24 miles per day at the standard travel speed. This correlates to 8 hexes. At the end of the day you can decide to set up camp and rest until the next morning. (Note: this does not count as a long rest.). Alternatively you can push on into the night.

You can optionally decide to travel with haste, allowing the party to travel a maximum of 30 miles per day (10 hexes) costing additional supplies (see Supply). Once you start to travel at haste, you must do so for the rest of the day, even if you reach your destination early.
